Tuesday - Ski Day
Grandpa got up and cleared the 5+ inches of snow off the truck and headed to Frisco to pickup Uncle David. With Christa working and they switching locations to ski Aspen the rest of the week it worked out to get David so she could pick up later. Despite the snow coming down, 4 miles towards Frisco and the snow stopped and sun came out. The mountains are amazing on weather patterns.

Slow start, but David and Logan got off to the shuttle by 8:45 a.m. Fresh powder day for sure. Drake/Sarah and Grandpa headed out at 9:45 and took the shuttle to east village. On to Super Bee chair to the top with snow and visibility not so good. The wind was really picking up as well, making the last part of the chair ride nippy. Sarah made it down the long run, but it took its toll as well as on Grandpa navigating such thick snow. Another run and it was time for a water break at Aerie, while Uncle David and Logan headed to the black side of the mountain.

After Logan and David caught up we headed to the right side of the mountain where we skied the Sunday. Easier blue runs. We knocked off a bunch until time for a break at the T-Rex bar. Grandpa found a table and everyone did one more run. Then settled in for a snowy lunch. After a good break and the chill sinking in it was time to head out and ski the rest of the day.
Upon return to the lodge, Parker was making Celery, Peanut Butter with Blueberry catepillar treats for everyone. Christa and David joined for a cocktail before heading west to Carbondale where they planned to stay for their Aspen days.
